Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications must be submitted by 31 May 2026 to be considered for funding in the 2025-2026 financial year.

The Community Small Grants - New Group Start Up category is a one-off grant designed to support the establishment of a new community group permanently located in the Kingston City Council. If you are not seeking funding to start up a new group, please apply via the Community Small Grants main application form.

This section of the application form is designed to help determine your eligibility for this grant stream.  It is important that you read and understand the Confirmation of Eligibility and acknowledge that you meet the criteria.

Organisations must:

• Intend to register as a not-for-profit and be managed by a volunteer board/committee of management
• Be physically located within the City of Kingston geographical boundaries
• Submit a complete application, including attachments or other supporting information requested by Council
• Provide a bank account in the group's name (ie: no personal bank accounts) prior to receiving funding
• Adhere to the Victorian Child Safe Standards (if applicable)
